A rare red-footed falcon has been spotted in Lowestoft (Image: Paul Shaw) "Unprecedented" rare birds of prey have been spotted roosting in a Suffolk beauty spot, attracting "hundreds of visitors". Avid photographer Paul Shaw snapped a picture of the red-footed falcon during a visit to the Carlton Marshes near Lowestoft. The bird is a rare visitor to the country and is considered near-threatened by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
