The incident happened on Sunday at about 9.20pm in London Road South. Several police cars were seen parked down the road as a man was hauled out of a property. Officers were then seen putting on gloves before entering the address. Karl Poundall, 55, of London Road South, has since been charged with assault causing ABH and two further assaults of police officers.

The first broke out at about 11.50pm on June 20 at the site of the former Jeld Wen factory in Waveney Drive. Three fire crews attended the scene, where a single-storey derelict warehouse was discovered to be ablaze. Crews successfully extinguished the flames by 1am. The site was then reinspected at 7.53am on June 21, when police were informed that the most likely cause of the fire was "deliberate ignition".

The crash happened at about 8.50am on Wednesday in Repps Road, Martham - near the Co-op - when the car left the road before crashing into a ditch. Police remained at the scene for several hours, but the vehicle has since been recovered and the road has reopened. Fire crews were called to the site of the former Jeld Wen factory in Waveney Drive at about 12am on Monday following reports of a blaze at the site. But upon arrival, it was discovered that two nearby derelict buildings - an office block and a disused open structure - were actually ablaze. Photos from the scene show the extent of the heat damage on the corner of one of the buildings. Operation Silent, part of the NPCC two-wheel campaign, saw six illegal e-bikes seized in Norwich throughout May. A total of 22 immigration checks were also completed by the Home Office and, as a result, three people were arrested for immigration offences. One person has been detained in an immigration detention centre and the other two have been released on bail.
