I am sorry I missed my last column. I had a bad fall Easter Sunday. I went to the emergency room. The only damage seemed to be a cut on my hand. They put 9 stitches on the wound. Since then I have had bruises show up on my chest and it is very sore. I am scheduled for a chest x-ray on May 22. I haven’t been out much for the past two weeks, so don’t have much to report. I have only been to church, so that is the news I have to report.

Not much news to report this week. The weather has been keeping me pretty close to home. My niece took me out for breakfast on my birthday Saturday. Due to the predicted snow on Tuesday, the Capon Valley Ruritan Club held their February board meeting scheduled for Feb. 11 on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 3 p.m. The regular member meeting will be held on Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. If the weather cooperates, they will be celebrating Valentine’s Day at this meeting.
