    The public were praised for their help in the investigationA MAN has been charged after a teenager was allegedly raped in a Scots city. The 16-year-old girl was allegedly attacked in Dundee in the early hours of last Sunday morning. It is claimed the alleged incident happened in the Cowgate area of the city. Detectives launched a massive hunt for the alleged attacker. A man, 31, has since been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged rape.

Police arrived and locked down the scene. The alarm was raised around 5.40pm after the crash happened. Dumbarton Road has been closed between Hawick Street and Mill Road. People have been urged to avoid the area.
