    Bristol’s FORWARDS Festival has announced the final additions to its 2025 music line-up, with a fresh batch of names set to join an already stacked weekend across 23rd and 24th August. Saturday’s main stage now includes genre-defying Londoner Nilüfer Yanya, whose distinctive blend of indie rock, soul and off-kilter electronics has earned her wide acclaim. She’ll be joined by Berlin-based artist Anna Erhard.

    Little Simz has today released her sixth studio album Lotus via AWAL Recordings. The 13-track project arrives after a string of well-received singles, ‘Young’, ‘Free’, and ‘Flood’, and sees Simz once again teaming up with producer Miles Clinton James. Described as her most personal work to date, Lotus draws on a wide range of sonic influences, from punk and samba to soul and jazz.

    Yungblud has announced a major UK and Ireland arena tour for April 2026, his biggest run of headline shows to date. The Idols tour will kick off in Dublin on 15th April, before hitting Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow, Birmingham and London, and finishing up at Manchester’s AO Arena on 25th April. The announcement follows the release of recent single ‘Zombie’, an emotional, anthemic track whose video stars Florence Pugh as an NHS healthcare worker.

    Juan Wauters has released ‘Manejando por Pando’, a new single from his upcoming album MVD LUV, out 27th June. The track arrives with a video and follows earlier previews ‘If It’s Not Luv’ and ‘Dime Amiga’, which together form a loose three-part visual story. The album is a homecoming of sorts for Wauters, who recorded it entirely in Montevideo, Uruguay; the city he left as a teenager and now pays tribute to in a record rooted in memory, rhythm and affection.
