Keywords ITAM kinase structure SYK ZAP-70 SAXS SH2 immune signaling crystallography FIDA Introduction Spleen tyrosine kinase (SYK), a non-receptor tyrosine kinase, plays a crucial role in signal transduction for activated immunoreceptors in both adaptive and innate immune responses.1 Beyond immunity, SYK is involved in bone development,2 platelet activation,3 cell adhesion,4 and microglial responses to amyloid beta.5,6 Given its central signaling roles in immune pathways, tight regulation of...

In situ XPS investigation of the SEI formed on LGPS and LAGP with metallic lithium† In situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) techniques have proven to be powerful tools for the characterisation of the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) formed between the anode and solid electrolyte (SE) in solid-state batteries.

Motivated by the classical spin-nematic state observed in the breathing pyrochlore spinel LiGa0.95In0.05Cr4O8, we theoretically discuss spin dynamics in models of spin-lattice coupling in these materials. Semiclassical dynamical simulations successfully recover the key features of inelastic neutron-scattering experiments on LiGa0.95In0.05Cr4O8: a broad finite-energy peak alongside a continuum of scattering near the (200) wave vector that extends from the elastic line to high energies.
