    Two tribute walls will stand in Brazil, Indiana, a solemn testament to the veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. It's a community effort as Eliza Rizley Stacey NSDAR, VFW Post 1127, and American Legion Post 2 host the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall and the Some Gave All Moving Tribute at North Clay Middle School. The walls will be displayed outside in the field behind the school, 3450 W State Rd 340, Brazil, IN 47834.

    The Brazil City Fire Department began checking and flushing fire hydrants in the northeast end of Brazil on Wednesday and will continue through the end of September. Residents might notice slight water discoloration and a potential pressure drop, but the water is still safe to drink and use for everyday purposes. Assistant Chief Raymond Staub said the process is going well, except for stopping to put out a brushfire. Clay County is currently under a burn ban due to the dry weather.
