AVON, Ohio (WOIO) - If you’re heading to a Lake Erie Crushers game this summer, you can leave your cash at home. Starting this season, the stadium will only accept cashless payments at its concession and merchandise stands, ticket windows and for parking. Fans can use credit and debit cards, or mobile payments like Apple pay and Google pay. Stadium management says going cashless will streamline operations, reduce wait times and create a fast, safer and more efficient fan experience.

FREMONT, Ohio (WOIO) - The Fremont Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred on State Route 53, Saturday night in the city of Fremont. Troopers say a 2000 Cherokee driven by Mark Franks was traveling southwest on the road, when it traveled off the west side of the highway and down an embankment. The 66-year-old struck a ditch and a utility pole before it overturned, before coming to a rest at Sean Drive.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio will be offering free summer programming for youth ages 6-18 at 17 locations in six Northeast Ohio counties. Online registration for summer starts April 29. Summer sessions at Clubs in Cuyahoga, Summit, Lorain, Erie, Huron and Ashtabula counties will start June 10 and end Aug. 16. Tentative times will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, although hours may vary according to location. Free transportation may be available to and from some Clubs.
