When acronyms get confusedI climbed into my friend’s truck for a coffee excursion and immediately recognized the song playing on her radio. “Ohmigosh! Where should the focus be? I recently discovered that my next door neighbor has the best recipe for homemade granola. My neighbor and I are on library board together. This month, her 12-year old daughter made granola and sent it with us to share with the board members. I was skeptical at first as I’m not a fan of raisins. The rest — oats, pecans, and chia seeds — were fine.

A dialogue between months“I’ll be seeing you,” said March. “Thanks for the lift.” She surveyed the bus terminal as she adjusted her worn canvas pack on her back. Every few years Oak trees drop their acorns en masse.
