AbstractThe purpose of this article is to design and introduce the SQUARE-IT approach to help scientists and clinicians in research to align important research problems with the objectives, the appropriate clinical research questions to be answered, and the research hypotheses to be investigated in medical and therapeutic specialties. Research ideas can be generated primarily through simple methods such as brainstorming and mind mapping.

Out of 312 OUD patients who were treated in the participating facilities on study days, 34 (10.9%) refused participation, 25 (8.0%) were not able to participate due to language problems, 19 (6.1%) due to psychiatric complications, and 21 (6.7%) were missed due to organizational reasons. Another 60 patients (19.2%) indicated no lifetime intravenous drug use. The remaining 153 patients (49.0%) were included into the present study.

The aim of the present study was to identify determinants of intention to seek PT-A in general and of intention to seek PT-A to specifically discuss private and occupational burden. Overall, the results showed that lower stigma-related barriers, lower psychological well-being were associated with higher general intention to seek PT-A. Those associations were less pronounced for intention to seek PT-A for occupational or private burden.
