This time last year Hobart resident Kathleen Murray was making international news after being crowned with the World's Ugliest Lawn. She gave thanks to the bandicoots that turned her lawn "into their own private Disneyland" and the missing mower which had made it all possible. But now Ms Murray's reign has ended, and she has handed the title over across the ditch. She tells ABC Tasmania Evenings' Helen Shield about her year as winner, and what she wants people to learn about water wastage.
