Since moving up to take Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter at No. 2 overall, the Jags have been at the forefront of the league’s discourse and rightfully so. Alongside Cleveland, the same team Jacksonville traded picks to acquire Hunter, the two normally woeful teams are right at the center of attention.

The Travis Hunter era has officially begun for the Jacksonville Jaguars as the team selected the former Heisman Trophy winner second overall in last night’s first round. To get Hunter, the Jags had to trade away some picks (the 36th pick, the 106th pick and next year’s first rounder). At the same time, the team did acquire picks (the 104th pick and the 200th pick).
