NEW YORK – Ms Caitlin Berzok used to be scared of strength training. She occasionally exercised with ankle weights, but worried that heavy lifting might slow her down or lead to injury. In 2015, she got serious about running, progressing from shorter races to marathons. Just a year later, she started having chronic knee pain. Soon, she could barely run more than 1.5km. Ms Berzok, then 29, tried resting, stretching and working with a physical therapist, but nothing helped.

RT @byDavidGardner: I don’t know, man, maybe some dudes from the 1700s who owned people and would be mystified by the sight of a dishwasher…

Such a good article. It all comes down to subsidized childcare and afforable housing. WE ALL BENEFIT FROM THESE https://t.co/kEibl8Idzb

Dealing with everything related to the pandemic (which was mostly having everyone in the house all the time) did such a number on my creativity and I am only now feeling like I can properly think again. I just wish I hadn't been so hard on myself about it
