Key PointsQuestion What patient-level risk factors are associated with inadequate screening and treatment for chronic kidney disease (CKD) among people with type 2 diabetes (T2D)? Findings In this cohort study of 316 234 participants with T2D, fewer than 25% received guideline-recommended CKD screening, and patient-level factors such as Hispanic ethnicity and comorbid cardiovascular disease were associated with concordance with screening recommendations.
