Carmen (Collett) Ness, age 69, of Pine Island, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 13, 2025, in the company of loved ones. Carmen Kay Collett was born on March 20, 1956 to Bob and Beverly Collett in Jackson, Michigan. In 1975, she graduated from Parkside High School in Jackson and then studied at Jackson Community College. She moved to Rochester, Minnesota in her early 20's where she began many lifelong friendships and also met her future husband.

Susan Burt, age 73, a Rochester MN resident, died peacefully and unexpectedly Friday, March 28, 2025, of natural causes at her home where she'd lived since October 1, 2020. Susan Gladys Burt was born to parents, Royal and Gladys (Moen) Burt, February 19, 1952. She lived on the family farm with her parents and six siblings until she graduated from high school. She graduated from elementary and high school in Lewiston, MN, in 1970. Then attended Rochester Community College taking secretarial courses.

So it is with Jaxson Brinkman, a 2021 graduate of Lourdes High School. "Early on I was wanting to be in the kitchen, especially baking and making desserts," Brinkman says. "In fact, during study halls I would watch baking videos."All of that has served him well as he has made something of a name for himself. especially with his creative cheesecakes.
