1. IntroductionSince reform and opening up, China’s economy has maintained rapid growth over the past four decades. From 1978 to 2022, China’s per capita GDP has risen from 385 yuan to 85,698 yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 13.1%, significantly surpassing the global average; however, the social equity and environmental protection challenges that accompanied this “Chinese miracle” should not be overlooked [,].
