1. IntroductionSarcopenia was first proposed in 1989 to describe the muscle loss associated with aging [1]. It is characterized by reduced skeletal muscle strength, decreased muscle mass, and impaired muscle function (Figure 1A). Sarcopenia can profoundly impact patients’ daily activities, nutritional intake, and cardiopulmonary functions, and it can also intensify the risk of various chronic disease outbreaks [2,3,4].

Bismuthene is a promising candidate for ultrafast optics and topological applications due to its exceptional properties. In this paper, the optical, electronic, and mechanical properties of monolayer bismuthene modulated by uniaxial and biaxial strain were theoretically investigated using a first-principles approach.

1 Introduction Low-dimensional lead halide perovskites, exemplified by CsPbX3 (X = Cl, Br, I), have garnered significant interest in the realm of optoelectronic devices because of their remarkable luminescent and photoelectric properties.[1-8] These perovskites are distinguished by a characteristic crystal structure wherein the [PbX6]4− octahedron serves as the fundamental unit.
