Bismuthene is a promising candidate for ultrafast optics and topological applications due to its exceptional properties. In this paper, the optical, electronic, and mechanical properties of monolayer bismuthene modulated by uniaxial and biaxial strain were theoretically investigated using a first-principles approach.
