CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — After multiple rounds of rain, some parts of Clarksville have water that still hasn't receded. This leaves many pointing fingers, wondering who's to blame. She’s already spent well over six figures renovating and making repairs— only for it to happen again.

He says this year’s flooding has left lasting damage. “Water got up in here into the house, and they had to tear everything out,” Hill said.

Waist-deep floodwaters surged through neighborhoods in Hopkinsville over the weekend, leaving homes and businesses underwater and forcing dozens of residents to evacuate with little time to react. Along Donna Drive, muddy floors, soaked furniture, and debris-strewn lawns now mark the aftermath of the sudden storm. Melissa Bond was among those forced to flee. “And then all of a sudden, the rain had already stopped, actually,” Bond said.
