1. IntroductionOver the past few decades, endovascular revascularization has emerged as a cornerstone therapy, providing a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgical bypass in patients with peripheral artery disease (PAD). This approach has gained traction due to its ability to restore perfusion while reducing procedural morbidity and hospital stays, particularly in high-risk populations such as elderly patients and those with multiple comorbidities [1,2].
