Railway services have been disrupted due to a fire next to the tracks. Southeastern said there had been delays, alterations and cancellations on the Hastings line after the incident at 06:00 BST on Tuesday. The fire adjacent to the tracks resulted in a failure of the electricity supply at the depot near Hastings, East Sussex, preventing some trains from departing, the firm said. "Once the fire is out, we will investigate the damage to resolve the power issues in the depot," a spokesperson said.
