MATERIALS AND METHODSAnimalsMale Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 180 to 220 g were obtained from the Institute of Experimental Animals of Sun Yat-sen University. All animals were housed at 24° ± 1°C and 50 to 60% humidity with a 12-hour light/12-hour dark cycle and were provided food and water ad libitum.
