    A western New South Wales man charged with murdering a young woman was on bail for several violent charges against the same victim. Childcare worker Molly Ticehurst, 28, was found dead in a Forbes home early on Monday morning. Daniel Billings, 29, was later arrested more than an hour away in Fifield, north of Condobolin. The Orange Local Court on Tuesday heard Mr Billings was on bail for charges including rape, stalking and intimidation when the alleged murder took place.

    A man has been arrested after a young woman's body was found at a home in Forbes, in central west NSW, early today. Police attended a home on Young Street after concerns were raised about the welfare of a woman. Officers located the body around 2am. The woman is yet to be formally identified but she is believed to be in her late 20s. A man has been arrested at a property in Fifield, north-east of Condobolin, and is assisting police with enquiries. Investigations are ongoing.

    The Bondi Junction shopping centre will reopen tomorrow for a community reflection day before resuming normal trading hours from Friday. The Westfield was evacuated on Saturday afternoon after 40-year-old Joel Cauchi, who was later shot dead, attacked shoppers with a knife. Five people, four women and a man, died at the scene and many more were hospitalised, including a nine-month old baby. The baby's mother, Ashlee Good, later died in hospital.
