    FRIDAY: High pressure will keep skies mostly clear to partly cloudy with highs reaching the upper 70s to mid 80s. A stray sprinkle is not out of the question in the afternoon, but the majority of the region will be dry. Wildfire smoke from Canada will continue to reduce our air quality for the majority of the region. This will linger throughout much of the weekend. SATURDAY: Mostly clear skies continue with highs in the 60s and 70s near Lake Superior to 70s inland. Lows will be in the 40s and 50s.

    THURSDAY: Warmer air returns to the region today with highs in the 70s to around 80 degrees and partly cloudy skies. Canadian wildfire smoke reduces our air quality for the majority of the region starting today and lingering for much of the weekend. Lows will be in the 50s. FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies continue with most areas getting into the low 80s. Air quality concerns become more widespread throughout most of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the U.P. Lows will be in the 40s and 50s.

    TUESDAY: Clouds increase from south to north this morning with a chance for rain and rumbles of thunder throughout the day. The best chance for rain is in the afternoon over NW WI. New rainfall totals should be less than a quarter of an inch. Highs reach the 60s with lows in the 40s. WEDNESDAY: A slight chance for showers and rumbles of thunder continue into Wednesday. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the 60s and 70s. Lows will be in the 40s.

    MEMORIAL DAY MONDAY: High pressure keeps skies mostly clear with a few clouds towards the afternoon. A stray rain shower is possible in north-central MN later this afternoon, but most areas will likely remain dry. Highs reach the 60s with lows in the 30s and 40s. TUESDAY: An area of low pressure will bring partly to mostly cloudy skies with a 30% chance for light rain showers. Highs reach the 60s with lows in the 40s.
