An inmate at State Correctional Institution-Mahanoy serving a murder sentence has been charged with sexual abuse after he allegedly had inappropriate contact with a minor through a series of video visits and calls. The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections charged Sandy Duran, 33, after investigators reportedly found inappropriate interactions between the inmate and a 17-year-old girl, recorded through the Inmate Visitor and Visitation System (IVVS) in January and February.
