Supreme Court won't hear arguments on Minnesota gun ban for people 18-20

April 21 (UPI) -- The Supreme Court rejected an appeal from Minnesota Monday that would have prevented its residents ages 18 through 20 from being permitted to carry firearms in public. The court granted a writ of certiorari in regard to Worth v. Jacobson, in which case a judgment was entered in July of 2024 by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

April 21 (UPI) -- A group of House Democrats arrived in El Salvador Monday to advocate for the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was mistakenly deported to El Salvador and incarcerated. Reps. Yassamin Ansari, D-Ariz., Robert Garcia, D-Calif., Maxwell Frost, D-Fla., and Maxine Dexter, D-Ore., made the trip in an attempt to put pressure on the Trump Administration to facilitate the return of Abrego Garcia.
China will punish countries that bargain with the U.S. over tariffs

April 21 (UPI) -- China says it will retaliate against other countries who work with the United States in any way that could compromise its interests. A Chinese Ministry of Commerce spokesperson said Monday in a press conference that it expects other countries should "stand on the side of fairness and justice, one the side of historical correctness," and should defend economic and trade rules when it comes to negotiations with the United States.
NASA, SpaceX launch 32nd resupply mission to International Space Station

April 21 (UPI) -- NASA launched its latest cargo run to the International Space Station early Monday morning. At 4:15 a.m. EDT, a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft took off while aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The craft, known as Commercial Resupply Services 32, or CRS-32, carried approximately 6,700 pounds of cargo and scientific equipment in what was SpaceX's 32nd commercial resupply services mission for NASA.
