    The Hayward Lakes area boasts an abundance of lakes, all of which have a nice variety of panfish, walleye, northern pike, musky, and bass. Nelson Lake is consistently a great spot for panfish but also holds several trophy northern pike. Round Lake, Grindstone, and Lac Courte Oreilles are all known for their walleye and have some exciting smallmouth bass action. The Chippewa Flowage is a hot spot for musky action, especially in the spring and fall, but also boasts a sizeable panfish population.

    Explore the scenic oasis of Morgan Falls/St. Peter’s Dome in Ashland County, WI. This area represents a large block of unfragmented forest, which includes exposed cliffs, streams, a 70 foot waterfall and a breathtaking overlook at the top of St. Peter’s Dome (known locally as Old Baldy) which has an excellent view of Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. This large site (approx. 5000 acres) of uninterrupted forest is rich in geological and botanical diversity.
