The Minnesota Star Tribune
The Star Tribune is Minnesota's biggest newspaper. It began with the launch of the Minneapolis Tribune in 1867, followed by the Minneapolis Daily Star in 1920. In the 1930s and 1940s, the city's rival newspapers came together under one owner, resulting in the Star becoming the morning paper and the Tribune serving as the evening paper.
