Skin measurementsAll tape strips, skin swabs and skin biopsies are collected from lesional and non-lesional areas of the skin in patients with AD and at a corresponding area from the controls. Samples from lesional skin are collected in the following priority (eg, if no lesional skin in elbow flexure, move to next skin site): elbow flexure, volar forearm, knee flexure, thigh, abdomen, flanks, back, buttocks and neck.
