The Kano State Board of Internal Revenue Service (KIRS) has sealed the Head Office of Max Air Limited for failing to remit over N190 million Pay As You Earn (PAYE) as well as other liability taxes accruing from 2012 to 2017. The Director of Debt Management and Enforcement of KIRS, Madam Ibrahim Abdullahi, said the company has failed to respond to some correspondence sent to it by the service, adding that they were forced to secure a court order to seal the company's office.

Residents of Kano said they are facing a severe shortage of essential food commodities such as sugar, flour and seasoning as the #EndBadGovernance protest continues, despite appeals for protesters to leave the streets. Checks revealed that many community shops in Kano have run out of stock as major markets remain closed. Although the state government has relaxed the curfew for six hours, many areas within the state metropolis are still experiencing a shortage of these basic commodities.

The International Crops Research for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) under the state's Agro Pastoral Development Project (KSADP) funded by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) with support from Lives and Livelihoods Fund has organized a four-day pre-season seed and input fair for farmers ahead of the approaching wet-season. Among the companies that displayed their products during the fair is Modern Agriculture and Allied Services. The company presented varieties of seeds to farmers.
