Mbah spoke during a condolence visit to the family of Chukwu, who died on April 12 at the age of 74. Chukwu, who hailed from Enugu and died in the city, was the captain of the Super Eagles when they won their first-ever Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title in 1980 on home soil. The ex-footballer was survived by Lillian, his wife, and their children and grand kids.
