In Tuesday’s state primary race for southern Southeast Alaska’s seat in the state House of Representatives, Republican candidate Jeremy Bynum took a strong plurality of the vote, falling just one vote shy of exactly half of the ballots tallied as of Thursday afternoon. The two nonpartisan candidates vying for that same seat finished much closer to each other, with Grant EchoHawk taking a small lead over Agnes Moran.
