And as a result, some people may be ready to get rid of those old confidential documents that are no longer needed. It’s of course important to protect yourself from identity theft when you dispose of this paperwork.     (WSYR-TV) — Honor Flight Syracuse has a mission of getting veterans to our nation’s capital to visit memorials which are dedicated to their service. That mission is looking for some help. Our friend Dan Cummings joined Bridge Street along with Steve Nee shared how to participate. The bottle and can drive fundraisers is taking place April 26 and 27 at Destiny USA from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. People can drop off their cans and bottles in the parking lot next to Embassy Suites off Solar Street.

An option out there is heading out to your local Onondaga County Public Library. Communications Director Tom Walters along with the libraries new Executive Director Amanda Perrine joined Bridge Street to share what they have planned. Perrine also shared her goals in this new role.

Their principles include service, achievement, scholarship and sisterhood. They collaborate with several organizations in Central New York including League of Women Voters, Meals on Wheels, the Dunbar Center and many more. Their programming includes working with youth.
