(WHP) — Two men involved in a string of robberies and crime, including shooting a State trooper, have been charged with burglary after several storage units were robbed in Lancaster County, according to Manheim Township Police. Timothy Mauldin, 33, was arrested on Dec. 31, 2024, and was charged with eight counts of burglary and two counts of criminal trespassing for a series of thefts committed in July and August of 2024.

Police arrived at her door to tell her that her son, Alex Fitzgibbon, had been in an accident. “So they said well, he was he had a really bad accident, I said ‘so what happened?’ They said he was hit by an Amtrak train,” D’Agostino said. “I was just taken aback and I said train I know and then I just thought to myself was he walking on train tracks?”Alex was struck the train around 5:30 PM.
