RED BULL suffered another disaster as Yuki Tsunoda smashed into the wall in practice, causing huge damage to the car. The red flag came out with five minutes to go as the Japanese driver clobbered into the wall on the exit of the final turn in Jeddah. Tsunoda was unharmed in the incident but the car was looking worse for wear with debris flying all over the track. The 24-year-old managed seventh fastest before his smash, with McLaren's Lando Norris recording the best time of P2.

LANDO NORRIS saved a chaotic weekend to bag third place in Bahrain after a false start and a disastrous qualifying session. The British 25-year-old served a whopping five-second penalty for a clear infringement at the beginning of the race, which Max Verstappen snitched on him for. His teammate Oscar Piastri produced an expert drive to finish in first, over 12 seconds ahead of George Russell who Norris was desperate to overtake but couldn't quite make it.
