    Kelly Lynn, former Norman Ward 3 council member and Wewoka municipal judge, was arrested and held in direct contempt for aggressive behavior at the Oklahoma County Courthouse Thursday. Prior to being arrested, Lynn was representing Mac Lee Brink in a child custody case. According to media outlet NonDoc, District Court Judge James Siderias ordered Lynn to be arrested for contempt during court proceedings in the case.

    The OU Board of Regents met to discuss and approve the naming of a new residence hall, policy revisions for employee paid time off and a vice president search committee during its meeting in Norman. Committee reports Regent Rick Nagel said, he along with Regents Kenneth Waits and Robert Ross reviewed the committee's goals for the 2024-2025 year to match in accordance with the refresh strategic plan.
