SEATTLE - Seattle Police and Fire crews are at the scene of a shooting and house fire in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. Crews were dispatched at 8:45 a.m. to a home in the 1000 block of N 48th. Officials say that firefighters on scene reported flames visible from the front door. Police say they also responded to reports of a shooting at that same address. This is an ongoing investigation and we will update you as soon as details become available.

SEATTLE — Woodland Park Zoo now has a pair of the world's rarest geese. The Nene or Hawaiian Goose is the first of its kind to be exhibited since the zoo's 123-year-old history. The pair can be seen at the zoo's Conservation Aviary walk-through along with the other bird species. The 11-year-old male and 5-year-old female were paired under the Nene Species Survival Plan under a breeding recommendation.
