Subscriptions are all the rage these days, and here comes another one. According to ETNews, Samsung plans to offer a subscription service for Galaxy smartphones and its Ballie home robot in Korea. This AI Subscription Club is not related to Samsung's Galaxy AI service. Membership covers the cost of a device plus related maintenance services. Galaxy phones will be available with the AI Subscription Club beginning next month, according to Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Han Jong-hee.

Get ready for a new flagship smartphone. Samsung's next Unpacked event will take place on Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. PT in San Jose, California. It will be livestreamed on both Samsung.com and the company's YouTube channel. If the naming conventions and lineup remain consistent from last year, expect to see a Galaxy S25, an S25 Plus, and an S Pen-equipped Galaxy S25 Ultra. "The new Galaxy S series is about to set the bar once again for mobile AI experiences now and into the future," Samsung says.
