The winner of a £1m lottery ticket in Wales has just one month left to claim their prize before it is no longer valid. The EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker ticket was bought in Rhondda Cynon Taf for the draw on 16 April. The National Lottery is urging players to double check tickets for the winning code of XMXB 32530 by Sunday 13 October. "We are ready and waiting with the champagne on ice for that life-changing phone call," said the National Lottery's Andy Carter.

Cwtch, a Welsh word with no literal English translation, is commonly used to mean a hug or cuddle. Its frequent use by contestant Nicole Samuel has been praised as "Welsh representation" by fans of the show. Nicole, 24, from Aberdare, is partnered with 21-year-old rugby player Ciaran Davies, from Bridgend, in an all-Welsh couple.

Wales' all-time top goal scorer has said she is disappointed with the level of online abuse she received after her record goal. Jess Fishlock scored her 45th Wales goal in their 2-0 win over Kosovo, which sealed a seeded spot in the Euros play-offs. However, she said the backlash she received online for being a woman that had broken the record was a "shame". She made the comments after accepting an honorary fellowship from Aberystwyth University.
