Willie Mullins reduced the deficit in the title race to £37,325 after Kiss Will landed the most valuable race of the day at Perth. Paul Townend's mount gained a dominant success by four and a quarter lengths in the Listed 3m novice hurdle and stablemate You Oughta Know finished fourth, accumulating £24,912 in prize-money for the reigning champion trainer. It was not all bad news for Dan Skelton, though, as his sole runner Royal Infantry ran well in second. The runner-up finish was worth £8,548.
