Lilly Pinchin ticked off two milestones in one go when she broke her duck at the track as well as for trainer Paul Robson on Diamond Mix in the 1m7½f handicap chase. The six-year-old thrived for a drop in trip and, despite the challenge of Kidman at the final fence, held on to deny that rival by a neck in a thrilling finish. It was Pinchin's breakthrough at the Northumberland track at the third attempt, on just her second ride for Robson. "He was very brave and so was Lilly," Robson said.
