Bristol Central boys win second meet of the season over Farmington, 104-46.

Bristol Central’s boys track and field team traveled to Farmington on Tuesday. They returned home with another impressive victory under their belts, a 104-46 decision over the River Hawks. Chuck Okeke had a huge day for the Rams, sweeping the three field events, Shot Put, Discus, and Javelin. Tristian Toussaint took firsts in the 110 and 300 Hurdles, and was part of the winning 4X 100 Relay for BC. And Will Postell finished first in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump.

5/15/2025Brian Anderson led the St Paul Falcons to their third win of the season Tuesday afternoon in Canton. Anderson pitched 5 scoreless innings allowing just 5 baserunners on 2 hits while striking out 8. Freshman Evan Judenis made his first varsity appearance on the mound, and finished the game for the Falcons. Starter Tyler Rottkamp took the loss for Canton. St Paul jumped out to an early lead with 2 runs in the 1st inning.
Hall mercies Bristol Eastern in baseball on Tuesday, 14-2

The Bristol Eastern baseball team lost to Hall on Tuesday afternoon, losing by the score of 14-2 in agame played at Hall, and called after 4 & ½ innings due to the mercy rule. Eastern took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first. With two outs, Owen Myers singled to left, took secondon a wild pitch, and scored on Randy DeNoto’s single to right center. Connor Murtaugh followed with adouble to right center, but DeNoto was cut down at the plate trying to score on the play. Then it got ugly.
BE boys track loses to powerhouse Hall on Tuesday, 101-48

The Bristol Eastern boys track team faced Hall High School Tuesday afternoon, and they put in a solid effort against a juggernaut of Central Connecticut track. The final score was:Eastern had four athletes with first place finishes. Jase Koczur: took 1st place in 3200 (11:10)Lincoln Bashaw: finished 1st in Shot Put (41-07.25)Reydro Philippe: placed 1st in Discus (113-09)Jacob Rogers: won in the Javelin (121-11) Eastern drops to 1-1, Coach Paul Ryskowski was proud of their effort.
Noah Molinsky pitches Bristol Eastern to home opening win over E.O. Smith

The Bristol Eastern baseball team earned their second victory of the season against E.O. Smith on Monday afternoon. Their success was due to the excellent pitching of Noah Molinsky and a two-run triple hit by Owen Myers. It was the Lancer’s first home game of the season, and the 3-0 win improved their record to 2-1. Eastern took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning and Molinsky took care of the rest. In the bottom of the first, Cole Chaivanik led off with a walk and promptly stole second.
St. Paul baseball crushes Wilby on Monday, 23-1

Dom Napoletano led the St Paul Falcons to their second win of the year with a dominating performance on the mound Mondy afternoon in Waterbury. Napoletano recorded 13 of the game’s 15 outs via strikeout while allowing only 1 run on 1 hit. Starter Darling Brito took the loss for Wilby. The St Paul offense got things going early. Keaton Kroll walked, Cal Chance singled, and Nicky Vlastos walked to load the bases with no outs in the top of the first.
St. Paul Falcons shut out Ansonia, 10-0, in baseball season opener

After a series of postponements, the St. Paul Falcons finally got to play baseball and came away with a 10-0 win over the visiting Ansonia Chargers in Bristol Friday afternoon. Coby Dagata picked up the win for the Falcons, allowing only 3 hits while striking out 9. Starter Jaxon Benjamin took the loss for Ansonia. After a scoreless 1st inning, Mike DeRosa led off the bottom of the 2nd inning for the Falcons with a double. Brother Jay DeRosa followed with a single.
Bristol Eastern baseball scores big win over Middletown on Thursday

The Bristol Eastern baseball team collected 16 hits enroute to a 17-4 win over Middletown on Thursday afternoon. The game was called after five innings due to the mercy rule. With Middletown leading 4-2 at the end of the third inning, the Lancers sent eleven batters to the plate in the top of the fourth. They scored eight runs. Then, they sent twelve batters to the plate in the top of the fifth, adding seven more. For Eastern, Dennis Espinal had three hits.
Bristol Central boys track opens season with big win over Lewis Mills

After a two day delay because of the weather, Bristol Central was finally able to launch their season against Lewis Mills on Thursday. It was obviously worth the wait, as the Rams dominated in almost every event to take a 121-29 decision over the Spartans. Tristan Toussaint had an incredible day, notching wins in the 100 meters, the 110 Hurdles, the 300 hurdles, and the 4 X 100 Relay. Noah Georgakopoulos had three victories. He took first in the 200 and 400 Meters, and in the 4 X 100 Relay.
Bristol Eastern girls lacrosse improves to 2-0 with victory over Wethersfield

The Bristol Eastern girls lacrosse team hit the road for a challenge in Wethersfield on Wednesday. In the past few years the Lancers have really had Wethersfield’s number, coming in with a five game win streak stretching over two seasons. Make that a six game streak as the Lancers fought for an 11-8 win. Harper Dauphinee paced the Lancer offense with five goals. Leah Roy and Savannah Drury kept the heat on with two goals each. Kate Patterson and Shannon Philippon each chipped in a goal.
