Carle’s president said they’re still awaiting clarity on what Medicaid cuts could look like, and that the discussion today helped paint that picture.

So, starting next month one downtown Champaign business is helping local farmers get their products to communities that need them. Martinelli’s Market is doing a six-week emergency community supported agriculture program beginning in May. It’s their first time doing something like this.

ARCOLA, Ill. (WCIA) — The City of Arcola is aiming to welcome in more out-of-town visitors in the near future, and a $1.3 million-dollar grant is going to help make it happen. The money comes from the state’s Rebuild Downtowns and Main Streets grant program. There will be several improvements, some of which are already in the works. Arcola Mayor Jesus Garza said new sidewalks, updated drainage and increased ADA accessibility headline the project.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The Champaign School Board was supposed to meet Monday night for their regularly scheduled meeting, but that meeting was canceled after three members called in absent. The three members who would’ve been absent include Mark Holm, Betsy Holder, and Amy Armstrong. The meeting’s agenda could have seen the board confirm two principals at Edison Middle School and Booker T. Washington Academy, as well as SROs at Central and Centennial High Schools.
