The Emory University Police Department (EPD) gave an all-clear message at 10:09 a.m. on Nov. 30 after a report of an armed robbery at the Emory Point CVS, according to an email from EPD Chief Burt Buchtinec. A series of Emory alerts that started at 8:57 a.m. told community members to avoid the area, take shelter and stay away from the parking decks near Emory Point. An Atlanta 911 call alerted EPD to the robbery at 8:19 a.m., according to police radio recordings.
