Beckville's Emily Grandgeorge, a standout in the field, in the pitcher's circle and at the plate for the Ladycats, was honored as a first team selection on the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 2A All-State Softball team on Wednesday. Grandgeorge, selected as a first baseman, hit .467 with nine home runs, seven triples, 10 doubles, 47 RBI and 71 runs scored. She walked 29 times and struck out just three times in 135 plate appearances.

University of Texas signee Hannah Wells was named Player of the Year, and Alexander Orosco is Coach of the Year for the 2025 season. Voting was conducted by TSWA members based on nominations from coaches and media members from around the state.
