    Legal ownership of more than 80 donkeys who were rescued from a farm in Wales amid the Covid pandemic on a cold winter’s day in February 2021 has finally been granted to The Donkey Sanctuary. They were part of the largest ever UK rescue by The Donkey Sanctuary, which was assisted by the RSPCA and the Dyfed-Powys Police, with support from equine welfare charities Redwings, World Horse Welfare, the British Horse Society and Bransby Horses.
