    Despite possibly facing contempt sanctions, Attorney General James Uthmeier won’t tell law enforcement to comply with a federal judge’s order suspending an immigration law that led to the arrest of a U.S. citizen. U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams is considering holding Uthmeier in contempt over his greenlighting of arrests under a law making it a first-degree misdemeanor for a person to enter the state as an “unauthorized alien” — despite her order temporarily blocking enforcement.
