The Red Sox Stats Twitter personality is an absolute fraud and I can’t believe anybody remotely cares what this loser has to say. Let’s go back to yesterday…Duran is seeing more and more pitches in the zone as the year goes on; he is bizarrely (and a path to further improvement) one of the worst hitters in baseball on pitches not in the zone.

This is something way out of my comfort zone and something I’ve never done at Vendetta Sports Media. Even though I know Trey would be fine with me doing a post like this, I still ran it by the Don because I respect him enough that I would never do something that would make others look poorly on him or the company. The 2023-24 NBA season has been a bad one for the Memphis Grizzlies. Memphis already came into the season with a massive hill to climb because of Ja Morant‘s 25-game suspension, but just before the season started, news came out that starting center Steven Adams would miss the entire season after knee surgery. Morant came back and there was a path back to the playoffs, but shoulder surgery will cause Morant to miss the rest of the season now too. That’s not the end of Memphis’ injuries.

So far, they’ve traded away their longest-tenured arm in Chris Sale for infielder Vaughn Grissom, signed Lucas Giolito to a short-term rehabilitation deal, acquired outfielder Tyler O’Neill from the Cardinals and traded outfielder Alex Verdugo to the rival New York Yankees. In November, Red Sox Chairman Tom Werner VOWED the team would go “full throttle” during this offseason.

Two years removed from spending time in The Big Apple, starting pitcher Marcus Stroman is back, and this time with the New York Yankees after spending roughly 2.5 seasons with the New York Mets from 2019-2021. Stroman inked a two-year, $37 million deal (with a third-year vesting option) with New York last week. The deal wasn’t announced officially until Thursday, as it designated outfielder Oscar Gonzalez for assignment to make room for the 32-year-old.
