    Skaneateles boys lacrosse picked up its 10th straight win on Friday by defeating LaFayette/Onondaga on the road, 20-8. The No. 4-state-ranked Lakers netted nine third-quarter goals to lead them to the victory. Landen Brunelle racked up five goals and dished out four assists. Braeden Taggart also dropped in five goals. Ty Calabro had four scores and one assist. Luke Mizro posted a hat trick and a pair of assists, while Charlie Carbonaro came away with a trio of assists and one goal.

    For the third time in four seasons, Cayuga Community College baseball has won the Mid-State Athletic Conference title. The Spartans went 14-4 in conference play during the regular season to capture their third title in history. They beat out Genesee Community College, who went 17-5, by .005 percentage points. Along with the team accolade, five Cayuga players walked away with individual awards.

    State-ranked teamsUnion Springs baseball (sixth in Class C at 13-0): With the help of a Jack Walters no-hitter, the Wolves swept a doubleheader against Marathon on Monday. Union Springs outscored the Olympians 36-1 over the two wins. Union Springs softball (eighth in Class C at 15-0): The Wolves picked up a trio of wins over the last week to remain undefeated on the season. Their defense and pitching continued to be a force, as they surrendered just five runs over the three victories.
