A Florida man was arrested last week for allegedly shooting himself outside his job last year. WESH reported that Cocoa police officers found Alexander Lefort, 30, with a gunshot wound to the abdomen at a FedEx warehouse in March 2024. Lefort, who was discovered lying on a couch at the facility, reportedly claimed he was near his car when an unknown man wearing a balaclava and hoodie shot him. According to investigators, Lefort parked his car at the farthest spot in a northwest parking lot.

A Texas man was arrested on Monday, two days after his father was found murdered in his home. KDBC reported that on Saturday, Victor Contreras, 74, was found disembowled, with stab wounds, and with a slit throat at his El Paso home. Contreras’ older son went to the residence after not hearing from him for more than a week. The older son reportedly entered the home through an opened bedroom window as the front door was locked.

An investigation is under way in New York after a deceased fetus was found outside on Thursday. Police sources told WPIX that the 4-month-old fetus was discovered outside a Brooklyn apartment building. A woman walking in the area reportedly spotted what she believed to be a baby or fetus and called 911. News12 reported that eight hours before Thursday’s 911 call, surveillance cameras filmed a man taking a photo in the area and leaving.

A missing 15-year-old Pennslyvania girl who vanished three months ago was found safe in Georgia on Monday. Enci “Aubrey” Wu was found in Jasper, Georgia, after residents recognized her and called authorities. Northampton County District Attorney Stephen Baratta said social service agencies are investigating Wu’s family to determine whether she will return home, according to Lehigh Valley Live.

A Michigan couple was arrested on Friday, nearly seven years after the woman’s 3-year-old son died under suspicious circumstances. Matthew Maison was found dead in his bed in February 2018, and an autopsy completed in 2021 determined he died from a combination of blunt force trauma and mechanical asphyxiation.
