According to WBNS, Mansfield police officers responded to reports of an unresponsive child in a vehicle. First responders arrived to find the boy in his mother’s arms before he was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Though it is unconfirmed how long the boy was in the vehicle, police said they believe he was there for several hours.

The Metter Advertiser reported that Karmen Williams was found deceased in the passenger area of a car parked at the Summer Trace Apartment Complex in Metter.
